half-baked Girls Love Song? Critical Analysis         The meter, sensitive Girls Love Song?, was written by Sylvia Plath. This poem has a theme of self-destruction as an escape. The author, Sylvia Plath, is writing this song from her admit personal view. There are many places where the theme of suicide appears in the poem.         The first stanza of the poem contains three lines that are recurrent throughout the poem. This stanza is the building block for the rest of the poem. These lines are implying that Sylvia feels that she is suitable to control look and death. I take out my eyes . . . ?, represents be afraid and/or tired of something. She is tired of fight with the cornerstone and is afraid of what is happening to her at this point in her life. So, as an escape from the reality of the world she closes her eyes. Sylvia is face that just scarce closing her eyes or hiding does not stand firm forever because when she opens her eyes everything is still the same. This is show that Sylvia is act to escape from her overwhelming depression.         The next section of the poem duologue about Sylvias life and how she wished it had been. I dreamed you enamour me into bed, and render me moon-stuck, kissed me quite insane.? Here Sylvia is wishing her life could look at resembled something of a normal life. Falling in love and earthly concern kissed are both normal things people are supposed to experience and embelli sh in, but due to her condition she was nee! r able to achieve this state.
